This is a demo site built to showcase Contact Sheet, a free WordPress theme for photographers and every other kind of image lover. The theme was created by Matias Benedetto and is available for anyone to install from the WordPress.org theme directory.

Contact Sheet keeps the interface out of the way and lets your pictures carry the page: on the home and archive views your posts are laid out as a film-inspired contact strip, and each post shows its photographs full width, one after another.

How to use it

• Install the theme from Appearance → Themes → Add New in your WordPress dashboard (search for “Contact Sheet”), or download it from the theme directory.
• Create a post for each set of photos. Add your pictures as Image blocks in the post body — they appear stacked below your text.
• The first image of every post becomes its thumbnail in the contact-sheet grid on the home page and archives.
• Personalise the site from the Editor: set a site icon and logo, a tagline, colours and fonts, and the navigation menu.

About the images

Every photograph on this demo — the Soviet-era monuments and buildings, and even the portrait used as the site icon — was generated with AI (Google Imagen) from written prompts. None of them are real photographs; they exist purely to demonstrate how the theme presents image-heavy content.

Free and open source

Contact Sheet is free software, released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). You can use it at no cost on as many sites as you like, study how it works, modify it to fit your needs, and share your own derived versions under the same licence. Build on it freely.
